WHAT'S NEW?

Quoi de neuf?...

Well, for one thing, this website is up and running...
... THAT's (still fairly) new!

Gilles recently returned to New York City after several assignments in Burundi (Central Africa) with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He helped the launching of several new major construction projects (42 primary schools, 1200 social housing units, 17 courts), and the physical rehabilitation of existing governmental facilities (11 jails and 14 military barracks), all funded in the framework of the Burundi Emergency Trust Fund and Peace Building Fund..
see HARMONIS at Work & Burundi

In parallel was the preparation of a new spiritual book titled A Path to Light
by Serge Marjollet and Gilles. This 2nd book aims at helping each individual understand himself better and the spiritual choices available to him for a more satisfying and rewarding life.

Gilles continues on assisting French publishers in expanding their market to the USA, notably the book by Viam della Rosa Operation: Jesus Genetic published in January 2005 by Editions Fortuna, see www.editionsfortuna.be

He is actively involved in SuperCoaching activities
and completed the translation into English of the websites of SkyMagic
and French writer/humanist Serge Marjollet

He remains involved in promoting the book Guérir avec Rien (Healing with nothing) by French author DAS, and the book on Ascended Masters Saint-Germain révèle la Hiérachie Solaire (St-Germain reveals the Solar Hierarchy) see Kataros / Editions Nectar (Canada).

He has completed the Photography sections on
Africa, Burundi & Haiti

His CD "debut" DREAMS, A Humble Tribute to Steve Lacy,
released in 2005 and reviewed in All About Jazz and in All About Jazz Italy, made the list of "THE BEST OF 2005" (category: Tribute Recordings),
December issue of AllAboutJazz / New York.

He went on a European tour in Belgium with the Joe McPhee trio
(with Joe McPhee and Joe Giardullo).
Appropriately named THREE FOR STEVE LACY, the 3 soprano saxophones trio played on December 4, at deSingel in Antwerp. Part of the first "Come Sunday" Jazz Series of the 2005-2006 Season, it was a great success. The one-hour concert was broadcast on Belgian Radio, and the videotape has be shown on TV in Belgium and Europe. A commercial CD release of the concert is in the works.

Last but not least (for now), Gilles turned 62!
and is proud to work worldwide as Principal Managing Partner of his own firm HARMONIS International to make available his rich professional experience to the world, in the fields of Habitat, Architecture, Monitoring, Infrastructures and Development Management Services. Another milestone...

and... his new musical adventure ...
a new CD entitled Moments of Life to be released in October 2008, with a striking calligraphy from Shingai Tanaka, and inspiration from Steve Lacy, Masahiko Togashi and George Crumb's respective musical universes.
